The Talent Acquisition Specialist plays a critical role in supporting the NFI Recruitment strategy, specializing in sourcing top talent to meet the organization's employment needs while maintaining compliance with hiring laws and enhancing company diversity, equity, and inclusion (“DEI”) strategies. The position will collaborate closely with HR teams, hiring managers, and external partners to foster positive relationships to ensure a seamless and effective recruitment process.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Support the implementation and sustainability of the talent acquisition and workforce development strategies including talent sourcing, customer experience, and employer branding across the organization.
  • Support hiring forecasts through the development of strategic and timely recruitment activities including unconventional sourcing methods and developmental programs for targeted skill sets.
  • Collaborate with HR teams and hiring managers to understand talent needs and develop recruitment strategies.
  • Conduct proactive sourcing strategies to identify and attract top talent.
  • Develop a pipeline of diverse candidates using innovative marketing tools, professional networks, systems, and processes.
  • Assess candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit through interviews and evaluations and provide timely feedback to candidates and hiring managers.
  • Generate recruitment reports and metrics to track progress, analyze effectiveness, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Represent NFI Group of companies at career, college, and recruitment fairs and similar events.
  • Assist with the immigration process and documentation for international hires, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and laws.
  • Promote NFI Group of companies through various channels, including social media, job boards, and networking events, such as career, college, and recruitment fairs.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

  • 2-3 years' experience in Talent Acquisition specializing in Engineering, Administrative, or Manufacturing based positions.
  • Solid understanding of visa and work permit processes (e.g., TN, H1B, etc.), including handling the necessary documentation and compliance requirements.
  • Experience working with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, showcasing strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in using various computer programs and platforms for data analysis and reporting.
  • Experience supporting organizations that work with historically disadvantaged groups, contributing to diversity and inclusion initiatives.
  • Experience in organizing and managing events and programs, with strong skills in communication, motivation, and organizational abilities.

Less than 10% of travel is required in this position.
