Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting our HR department by assisting with various administrative tasks, hiring new candidates, maintaining employee records, and providing exceptional customer service to our staff. Key Responsibilities: ● Develop and implement recruitment/deployment strategies to ensure that sufficient, quality resources are available to satisfy project and location growth plans. ● Provide metrics to the business on recruitment activities, campaign effectiveness and lessons learned. ● Lead weekly roster reviews with various project sites to understand their manpower requirements and to provide status updates. ● Recruit for our most demanding, high volume projects sites. ● Assist with the recruitment process by posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and conducting initial screenings. ● Maintain employee records, including but not limited to, personal information, attendance, and performance evaluations. ● Assist with onboarding and orientation for new hires, including preparing necessary paperwork and conducting orientation sessions. ● Handle employee inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner. ● Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures as well as federal and state regulations. ● Screen candidates and coordinate interviews with respective managers and participate in interviews. Requirements: ● Strong communication and phone skills, ability to build rapport quickly and make a high number of calls daily. ● Must have a passion for recruitment and ability to manage high volume recruitment. ● Team player and possess a strong work ethic. ● Minimum 2 years experience in a high volume recruitment role, preferably in an open shop environment. ● Highly organized with excellent attention to detail ● Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion when handling sensitive information ● Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) ● Prior experience in human resources or related field preferred but not required ● Prior experience in human resources or related fields is preferred but not required Benefits: ● Competitive salary of $50,000 per year. ● Opportunities for professional development and growth within the company. ● Flexible work arrangements, including the option to work from home once acclimated to Job Type: Full-time Pay: $50,000.00 per year Schedule: Monday to Friday Education: Secondary School (preferred) Language: English (preferred)
