This is a remote position based in Vancouver, BC. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in recruitment, with comprehensive knowledge of screening and interviewing candidates, sourcing techniques and strategies, and business partnering and advising. If you have a passion for uncovering and engaging untapped talent, enjoy helping individuals find rewarding careers, and are skilled in tactfully partnering with business stakeholders in a dynamic, complex, and extremely fast-paced work environment, we want to hear from you!Key ObjectivesManage the end-to-end recruitment process for a substantial and diverse portfolio of open roles across North America and achieve hiring goals and recruitment metricsOperate as a key member of the Talent Acquisition team, moving talent objectives forwardPartner with hiring managers across the business to gain a thorough understanding of hiring needs and advise on recruitment best practicesDevelop and manage relationships with candidates to ensure an outstanding candidate experienceEssential Duties & Responsibilities As a Talent Acquisition Specialist your key responsibilities will include: Develop relationships with hiring managers and conduct recruitment intake meetingsAct as a Talent Acquisition subject matter expert and trusted advisor to the businessLeverage multiple recruiting channels to uncover, attract, and engage qualified candidatesActively source candidates to fill open positions, continuously refining messaging and sourcing strategies as neededEffectively screen resumes, conduct phone interviews, and present qualified candidates to hiring managersManage candidate relationships throughout the recruitment process, including scheduling interviews, providing updates, and presenting and closing offersDraft written documentation using established templates, including job postings and employment agreementsFollow internal recruitment processes and procedures while also demonstrating authenticity in your approach and the use of innovative strategies to achieve recruitment goalsMaintain accurate documentation across internal recruiting tools and systemsProvide additional support to the Talent Acquisition and Human Resources team as needed, fostering a positive and supportive team dynamicParticipate in the execution of varied Talent Acquisition projects, programs, and initiatives as neededAct as an ambassador for the Venturis group of companies and successfully propel our employer brandContinuously learn, refine skills, and develop your understanding of recruiting best practices, techniques, and strategiesRequired Skills & Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, knowledge, and competencies: At least three to four years of proven full-cycle recruitment experience is requiredPost-secondary education in a related field strongly preferred, such as Business, Psychology, Human Resources, or equivalentAbility to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced, and dynamic work environment is requiredDemonstrated achievement in managing candidate pipelines and recruiting for a range of niche and hard-to-fill roles, including but not limited to: sales, technology/IT, finance, administration, customer support, technicians/mechanics, and/or management positionsEstablished sourcing skills, including a high degree of proficiency with LinkedIn RecruiterPrior experience using Applicant Tracking Systems, LinkedIn, Indeed, and other recruitment systems and platformsWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and OutlookDemonstrated competency in planning and setting priorities, effectively managing time and competing tasks accordinglyRefined verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to interact with candidates, stakeholders, and managers in a proactive, confident, and professional mannerEstablished relationship-building skills and interpersonal skillsStrong business acumen, information seeking skills, and creative problem-solving skillsHighly adaptable, resourceful, and motivated with a strong work ethicAbility to work effectively independently, and as a member of a collaborative teamA genuine interest and passion for Talent Acquisition and continuous improvementBenefits & Perks Venturis is proud to offer competitive compensation and flexible benefits coverage for all eligible employees, including an employer matching RRSP plan: Company paid medical health care plan for you and your dependentsExtended health plan – 100% employer paidDental plan, vision plan, and prescription drug coverageAnnual health care spending accountLife insurance, disability insurance, and travel insurance – 100% employer paidSick leave plan – 100% employer paidEmployee assistance programsRRSP matchingWellness daysOngoing professional development opportunitiesRemote and flexible work schedule The annual base salary range for this role is: $70,000 to $90,000 depending on experience, plus bonuses.
