We are currently seeking a Systems Analyst to join our team in Halifax, Nova Scotia (CA-NS), Canada (CA). This is an 100% onsite position.
In this role, you will be responsible for the leading, engineering & developing quality software components and applications for brokerage products. You will also apply and adopt variety of cloud-native technologies for the products. In addition to analizing software, you will have an opportunity to help define and implement development practices, standards and strategies.
The Systems Analyst participates in all phases of software development. The Systems Analyst needs to have a strong understanding of the software
Requirements
- 5+ years systems analysis experience required.
- 5+ years experience working within an Agile software development framework.
- 5+ years experience with SQL / Experience with database query tools
- 5+ years experience with Postman or similar platform
- 5+ years experience working with RESTful APIs, Cloud service such as AWS is a plus.
- 5+ years experience working with Java API’s
- 5+ years experience working with Splunk or similiar
- Are an entrepreneurial problem solver comfortable accepting, proposing and leading change.
- Ability to gather business requirements and form well defined story acceptance criteria.
- Experience with Technical writing and documentation.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a technology related field (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, etc.) required.
