Software Configuration Developer/Systems Analyst (3 Month Contract)Location: Burnaby, BC Staffing Placement OpportunityCapabilities• Technical mindset to work cross functional teams, solid understanding of IT concepts• Demonstrated capability to drive deliverables under tight timelines in a complex and evolving organizational environment• Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget and timeline• Comfortable leading meetings and regularly communicating to project and business stakeholders• Excellent client facing (verbal and written) communications skills and interpersonal skills• Advanced time management and analytical skills• High degree of attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously• Self-starter, achievement oriented, diligent, motivated and proven problem-solving abilitiesExperience/Qualifications• Completion of a university degree at the Bachelor’s level in computer science or a related discipline. Those with diploma or certificate from a recognized postsecondary institute will also be considered• Minimum 8 years experience in developing and/or implementing and deploying business applications• Proficient in SQL• Proficient in ESRI/GIS or GeoMedia and iMapEditor• Experience with application development tools and standards as well as general programming and methodologies• Experience with Server technology and software• Experience with system integration between business applications and across technical platforms preferred• Ability to analyze, interpret data and develop solutions• Preference will be given to someone who has experience with COTS packages and Safety applications Note: this is an opportunity with a Microserve client.
