Together, we contribute to the success of one of the fastest growing and largest publicly traded, pure play renewable power platforms in the world while supporting decarbonization and greater energy sustainability to facilitate the global transition to a net-zero.About the RoleReporting to the Supervisor, Financial Applications, the Systems Analyst will be mainly responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for various Financial Business Applications and integrations to handle incidents, service requests, problems, enhancements on a priority basis.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform analysis, investigation, and testing for solutions regarding technical matters on various business applications;Work with and maintain COTS Business Financial systems;Monitor and address different types of integration issuesUse different tools to conduct analysis and troubleshooting of technical issues/requests (PLSQL Developer, SFTP Clients, Server Configuration files, Azure, etc.);Coordinate with other groups for maintenance of business applications and servers such as Monthly server patching, Application Refresh, and Certificate/License renewals;Coordinate with the infrastructure team for creation of file shares, folder permissions, commissioning/decommissioning servers, troubleshooting server and network-related issues;Conduct intake discussions with users from different departments and with Business Analysts to confirm the requirements and implications, if any;Support and develop customized DB objects, Crystal, SSRS, and SQL reports;Ensure continued, uninterrupted service through identifying and resolving problems in a client/server environment;Support and create software integrations and external interface along with corresponding technical documentation;Provide 3rd level support for the Company’s business applications, including periodic on-call support;Analyze and follow service calls through to resolution using the ITSM;Handle different types of cases such as Service Requests, Incidents, Enhancements, RCAs/Bug Fixing;Perform impact analysis for any internal or external updates introduced to the business applications (e.g. compatibility, performance, or impacts to any integrations/jobs) Knowledge and Experience RequiredUniversity or College Degree in Computer Science/Technology or equivalent;7+ years of experience as a Level 3 Application Support and/or Systems Analyst;Solid Level 3 Technical Support with experience in monitoring, configuring, documenting, troubleshooting, and maintenance of various Financial Business Applications;Strong Knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL (Analyzing, script composition, testing, etc.);Have experience creating or updating various types of reports such as SQL Reports, SSRS, and Crystal Reports;Experience in supporting different modes of integrations (APIs, SFTPs, etc.);Have fundamental understanding of various Azure Resources such as Logic Apps, Key Vaults, Storage Accounts, Virtual Machines, API Connections, etc.;Experience using ITSM (Change Management, Incidents, Problem Tickets, Enhancements, Service Requests, etc);Strong Analytical and critical thinking skills - capable of doing root cause analysis for recurring and complex issues;Strong planning, prioritizing and time management skills - must be able to undertake and manage multiple tasks at the same time and work under deadlines and operational pressure;Can communicate and work effectively with teams and stakeholders of different levels across the organization;Willing to be part of the team’s on-call rotation to support critical issues and application maintenance downtime;Experience supporting ERPs such as D365 Finance & Operations and IFS, and integration platforms such as Workato would be considered an asset;Understanding of SSH Keys, application/server certificates, and different languages like YAML, JSON, REXX would be considered an asset;Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley requirements would be considered an asset; Note: Offices continue to be central to collaboration and Brookfield’s identity. This position requires the employee to be on-site for a minimum of 3 days to perform most effectively.
