With a team of over a dozen sponsored riders and our annual Dunbar Summer Series race events, we take our responsibility to give back to the cycling community seriously.GENERAL FUNCTIONAs the Suspension Technician, you will be responsible for the repair of bicycle suspension, which may be in for routine service or repair of defects.MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES• Complete tear down, rebuild and inspection of internal for wear and tear on assemblies of FOX, Marzoccchi, RockShox and Ohlins suspension• Detailed and extensive knowledge of bicycles of all types, parts, tools, service techniques and parts compatibility• Attention to detail and efficient and tidy work ethic• Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced work environment as well as being able to work as part of a team• Ability to talk to customers in a friendly and open manner, efficiently assess and diagnose their suspension concerns and explain the repair service to the customer in an easy manner• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues under pressure but to the highest standardBASIC QUALIFICATIONS• A minimum of 1-3 year’s previous experience servicing suspension in the cycling industry• Good communication skills to explain mechanical problems in detail• Comfortable working with high-end mountain• Comfortable working with all types of hydraulic components• Positive attitude and self-motivated• Passionate about ridingDESIRED QUALIFICATIONS• A detailed knowledge of suspension forks and shocks, servicing and tuning, suspension kinematics.ADDITIONAL INFORMATION• The position is Full-Time and is a 1-year contract to start• Competitive salary based on experience - $27-$29/hour• Employee discounts on bicycle and accessories• Health benefit package• You need to be legally eligible to work in Canada and must have a valid work permit
