Surveyors will be responsible for coordinating and laying out various aspects of construction projects with a high level of accuracy, ensuring the design criteria is adhered to and well documented. Some of the knowledge and experience we will be looking for includes, but is not limited to, the following: Maintain and verify provided control network. Ensure equipment is maintained and calibrated. Coordinate and undertake planning and implementation of survey requirements to facilitate construction activities. Maintain accurate survey records, documentation, and stamped submittals. Provide layout at various stages of construction. Monitoring, organize and manage survey operations and personnel. Provide clear communication with client in a professional manner. Manage as-builts information and digital records. Required Knowledge and Skills Post-secondary education in Surveying, Geomatics or Civil Engineering. 2-3 years experiences with survey practices and standards. 2-3 years of experience in Construction surveying industry 2-3 years experiences using office, data, surveying, and engineering-based software. 2-3 years with GPS and total station experience required 2-3 years’ experience with engineering design and survey methods. Excellent oral and written communication skills and organizational skills. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Ability to lift 50lbs. Available to travel to various projects. Driver’s license (Class G). Driver’s Abstract required.
