This position is a hybrid role based in our Mississauga, Ontario office with the opportunity to work 2 days remotely per week. Position Summary: Responsible for purchasing of products and services to meet company requirements and maintain appropriate inventory levels. Negotiates best deals with vendors and ensures adherence to quality and delivery standards. Interfaces with multiple internal departments to resolve discrepancies related to invoicing, shipments, etc. Buyers may specialize in a specific area (e.g. services, IT products, etc.) or functional support (sales). Support personnel manage the paperwork and purchasing systems transactions to ensure adherence to procedures.What you bring to the role: A diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent 0-2 years of purchasing experience. Experience with MS Office suite including Excel and must have experience with VLOOKUP. Experience with tools such as Blue Yonder, JDA, or similar software is an asset. Must be analytical and detail oriented. Able to work in a fast-paced environment. *This is not a complete listing of the job duties.
