Our client , a distributor of popular kitchen and bathroom plumbing products worldwide, is seeking aSupply Chain PlannerTheSupply Chain Plannerwill act as a liaison between Planning/Customer Service/Distribution and Marketing to ensure success in the following areas:Customer event, promo and new product launch activities, service management, DC workload balancing and prioritization and Wholesale project product availability.Supply Chain Planner DetailsHybrid, 3 days (Tuesday-Thurs) in office, Monday-Friday WFH Holidays: 3 weeks, plus option to purchase a 4th. Salary: $62K-$80K based on qualifications Bonus: 10%. RRSP: 3% plus 5% match (8%).Supply Chain Planner QualificationsCollege Diploma in Business, Operations Management or equivalent APICS Certification preferred. 3-5 years Inventory Planning experience Master scheduling experience is an asset. Experience in Consumer-Packaged Goods is an asset. 2-3 years SAP experience with proficiency in several computer applications; Analysis for Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint 2-3 years DDMRP experience is an asset. Excellent oral and written communication skills Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to relate to internal customers Strong analytical ability and detail oriented Proven ability to organize, prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment with constant interruptions Demonstrated ability to perform analysis, determine root cause, and recommend improvements to prevent reoccurrenceSupply Chain Planner What You’ll Be Doing.Supply & Demand Planning - 65%Perform supply planning function within SAP MRP and Orchestrate DDMRP tools, expedite product as required to maintain a 98% fill rate. Work with the service analyst, identify root cause/corrective action for service misses. Monitor large/advance orders, work with Sales to manage customer expectations. New Products - review forecast/supply, ensure new product launches are executed on time. Obsolete Products – review demand/supply, ensure deletions (or partial discontinuations) are executed with minimal leftover inventory. Monthly forecasting by customer or product category, monitor forecast accuracy. Review historical POS, determine future forecast within SAP APO. Forecast planned promotional/project activity in APO/O8 to ensure incremental customer needs are met. Participate in monthly collaboration meetings to discuss forecasts, resolve discrepancies between forward looking sales and end forecast and Attend weekly and bi-weekly customer collaboration meetings, review and resolve any customer issues/concerns as required. Working with sales/marketing ensure regular follow-up communication to identify any changes in requirements and/or timingProcurement - 15%Ensure that purchase orders are created accurately and on time Communicating and coming to resolution with vendors on all supply issues Monitor vendor performance, ensuring adherence to the agreed upon lead times Make recommendations on MOQ’s as requiredInventory Asset Management – 15%Working closely with Sales/Marketing, review over buffer inventory levels and identify corrective actions/reductions. Review forward plan and action as neededReporting - 5%Analyse and report inventory gaps as required. Prepare ad-hoc reports as required using Analysis for Office and SAP#J-18808-Ljbffr
