This is a great opportunity to amplify your purpose and contribute to meaningful, challenging work at the forefront of the energy sector.Bring your passion, your ideas, and lets do this.DescriptionLocated out of our Calgary office, the successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management and execution of the daily, monthly and annual NGL facility volumetric and production accounting reporting activities performed by the team. As this role interfaces with NGL operations and commercial teams the Supervisor will be required to have a broad understanding of the NGL business unit to provide accurate volumetrics and production accounting reportsKey Activities and Responsibilities• Execute plant volumetrics, facility balancing, production reporting including quality analysis for the Cochrane Extraction Plant, Pioneer 1, Pioneer 2, Boreal Pipeline and ROF facilities.• Develop system (data mining, trend analysis, dashboards) to identify measurement issues and work with operations for resolution.• Review and approval of volumetric calculations and analysis in production reporting for quality assurance.• Support annual Enhanced Production Audit Program (AER’s Directive 76) submission.• Ensure proper current and historical reporting of facility production volumes to government agencies (AER and Petroleum Registry), third parties and internal reporting.• Prepare annual Production Reporting and Accounting S23 Manual submission (AER)• Support annual environmental air reporting with the collection, verification and analysis of required reporting volumes.• Certify adherence to Inter Pipeline’s SOX compliance directives and corporate accounting policies.• Participate in various audits by corporate, regulatory and industry groups by supplying and explaining data, procedures, and reporting.• Liaise with IT to address software bug fixes, enhancements and system upgrades (CVMS, ANSCAN, and Quorum Suite)• Business lead for IT project (volumetric software replacement); collaboration with key stakeholders to ensure all business requirements are addressed within the volumetric and allocation systems.• Maintain and improve required volumetrics management system documentation and procedures.Education, Skills and Experience• 5 to 10 years in volumetric, production accounting or similar volumetric measurement reporting experience preferably a minimum of 2 years in midstream or downstream operations. • Knowledgeable in AER Directive 17 and API / GPA measurement standards• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, data and trend analysis with proficiency in excel.• Power-Bi or similar automated reporting development experience considered an asset.• Field level measurement knowledgeHoursMonday to Friday, 40 hours per weekOn-siteAs this position is identified as security sensitive, employment of a final candidate will be conditional upon completion of employment verification and criminal background check assessments with satisfactory results.While diversity is a fact, inclusion is the act of recognizing the value of our differences and leveraging them for the betterment of our organization.
