Job Description

Position overview:– Full-time– Hours range from Monday to Friday 9 am to 5 pm and/or Saturdays 9 am to 4 pm; may vary as per business needs– Admissions targetsSkills:– Excellent communication skills – verbal and written– Strong interpersonal skills– Sharp attention to detail and highly organized– Proficient in using Microsoft office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint– Efficient time management and prioritizing skills– Strong problem-solving skills– Fluency in written and verbal English is critical– Persistence and use of aggressive sales techniques when required– Exceptional negotiation skills– Social media savvy– Punctuality is critical– Creative mind– Strong work ethic and experience working in the Canadian work landscape (required)Qualifications & experience:– Undergraduate degree or diploma in sales, business or marketing– G class driver’s licence and access to vehicle is preferred– At least 3 years of sales or admissions experience in Canada is required– At least 1 year of experience in digital marketing and social media marketing in the Canadian setting– Experience working in the admissions or student recruitment role at a college or school in Canada is strongly preferredJob responsibilities:– Assisting in recruitment strategy and implementation for various programs– Manage the social media conversation, including creating and responding to posts, comments– Respond to telephone or email inquiries with excellent customer service– Meeting monthly or annual enrolment targets-Using and managing the CRM system to track and manage leads and inquiries-Booking and co-ordinating school tours for prospective students (subject to current conditions of the pandemic and safety)-Interviewing and counselling prospective students-Converting prospective students into enrollments– Regularly update and maintain student files and records– Manage student fee payment and receipts-Give presentations to prospective students at various events (subject to current conditions of the pandemic and safety)-Attend job fairs, make visits to Newcomer centres, Employment agencies, etc to recruit students (subject to current conditions of the pandemic and safety)-Initiate and manage the full sales cycle from beginning to end-Work on lead generation and follow-up on existing leads provided by school in a team or independently-Organize student orientations and assist with marketing/social media as required-Other tasks or assignments as assigned by the Director#J-18808-Ljbffr
