Qualifications & experience:
– Undergraduate degree or diploma in sales, business or marketing
– G class driver’s licence and access to vehicle is preferred
– At least 3 years of sales or admissions experience in Canada is required
– At least 1 year of experience in digital marketing and social media marketing in the Canadian setting
– Experience working in the admissions or student recruitment role at a college or school in Canada is strongly preferred
Job responsibilities:
– Assisting in recruitment strategy and implementation for various programs
– Manage the social media conversation, including creating and responding to posts, comments
– Respond to telephone or email inquiries with excellent customer service
– Meeting monthly or annual enrolment targets
-Using and managing the CRM system to track and manage leads and inquiries
-Booking and co-ordinating school tours for prospective students (subject to current conditions of the pandemic and safety)
-Interviewing and counselling prospective students
-Converting prospective students into enrollments
– Regularly update and maintain student files and records
– Manage student fee payment and receipts
-Give presentations to prospective students at various events (subject to current conditions of the pandemic and safety)
-Attend job fairs, make visits to Newcomer centres, Employment agencies, etc to recruit students (subject to current conditions of the pandemic and safety)
-Initiate and manage the full sales cycle from beginning to end
-Work on lead generation and follow-up on existing leads provided by school in a team or independently
-Organize student orientations and assist with marketing/social media as required
-Other tasks or assignments as assigned by the Director
