Job Description

We are currently assisting our client, a prominent leader in rotor wing maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO), in their quest for Structures Rotary AME's (S or ACS) to fill positions in Trenton. ON


Job Responsibilities


  • Adheres to approved repair/modification procedures for components or aircraft, referencing internal procedures, TC-approved technical data from OEMs, and work package instructions.
  • Positions and aligns subassemblies in jigs or fixtures using measuring instruments, following blueprint lines and index points.
  • Inspects completed work to identify any required rework before submitting for final release inspection, ensuring repaired components meet prescribed standards and tolerances.
  • Performs serviceability tests on repairs using specified test equipment from technical manuals.
  • Completes work package documentation after completing all designated operations.
  • Submits completed work to Quality Assurance for final/in-progress inspection and recertification of airworthiness.
  • Works shifts/weekends as required.
  • Operates dangerous machinery frequently, requiring safety equipment such as safety eyeglasses, hearing protectors, work boots, and hard hats.
  • Constantly exposed to noise, fumes, gas, chemicals, dust, or dirt.
  • Occasionally exposed to extreme temperature or humidity.
  • May perform other duties as assigned.
  • Qualifications, Skills & Attributes


    • Holds a valid Transport Canada AME ā€œSā€ Type license or Military ACS training on helicopters.
    • Minimum of 3 years of Structures experience.
    • Must be self-motivated and possess the ability to process complex systems and logically think through problems.
    • Results-oriented with a focus on quality.
    • Proficient in the use of electronic or paper-based manuals and able to navigate vendor data to find necessary information.
    • Knowledge of aviation standards.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Ability to take direction and follow instructions.
    • Works on the shop floor involving frequent lifting of materials up to 30 lbs.
    • Must have the legal right to live and work in Canada.
