Protostatix is currently seeking a new intermediate-to-senior structural engineering technologist to join our Edmonton office. Your Contribution Prepare engineering designs and drawings; Preparing and modifying drawings during design and construction. Ensuring structural drawings and specifications meet established Project criteria and applicable standards; Assisting in the preparation of functional, preliminary and detailed design drawings; Design drafting using AutoCAD, REVIT, and MS office with excellent general computer skills; Participate in the production of construction document for structural projects; Communication and coordination with other sub consultants and members of the Project team; Read and interpret blueprints/drawings; And other miscellaneous duties, as required. Your Profile Registered as a professional engineer with Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO); Completion of civil engineering technology diploma from an accredited school is required; Equivalent experience or education may be considered; A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience ideally in the consulting industry; Working experience and knowledge in recent and current versions of AutoCAD, REVIT, MS Office with excellent general computer skills is required; Excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities are required.
