  1. Confer with clients and other members of the engineering team and conduct research to determine project requirements
  2. Ensure construction plans meet guidelines and specifications of building codes and other regulations
  3. Evaluate and recommend appropriate building and construction materials
  4. Interpret, review and approve survey and civil design work

Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses:
Registration as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) by a provincial or territorial association
Eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) by a provincial or territorial association
Computer and technology knowledge: MS Office

Area of work experience: Design, Operations, Quality assurance or control

Construction specialization: Industrial, commercial and institutional
Area of specialization: Construction, Structural engineering, Transportation/travel

Valid driver's licence
