About The Role

  • Liaison between client operations, maintenance, and third-party engineering service providers
  • Coordinate third-party engineering firms on capital and operation projects
  • Technical inspections of in-situ and remediated structures to identify defects
  • Work with project teams to evaluate project scopes
  • Evaluate changes to the construction and/or design process
  • Other related activities as required
  • 3 weeks on, 1 week off in Labrador City with paid travel and accommodations

About You

  • Bachelors degree in structural/civil Engineering
  • 12+ years of structural engineering experience
  • Brownfield experience in the mining industry is an asset
  • Qualified or eligible for immediate registration with PEGNL as a P.Eng
  • Field level construction experience
  • Experience managing a third-party engineering firm
  • Unwavering commitment to health, safety, and environmental protection
  • Fluent in English with fluency in French being a definite asset

Please note that you will be required to work in an industrial environment. This may include working at heights, dirty/dusty and noisy environments, and confined spaces. All personal protective equipment and site-specific training will be provided.
