Strategy Consultant - Government RelationsPosted On 08/01/2016 Job InformationManufacturing Work Experience4-5 years $49,850 - $75,000 CityOttawa, Ontario Job DescriptionDuties Strategy and Operations Consultants are primarily responsible for planning, organizing and leading portions of an engagement. They are responsible for ensuring the quality of client deliverables and serve as competent, effective members of client delivery project teams. Completing and managing client work in accordance with established budgets, workplans, quality standards and time-frames Identifying and resolving issues critical to the clients strategic and operational success Structuring and solving problems from beginning to end Leading client interviews to understand complex business issues Developing content for client presentations Providing implementation assistance as required. Meeting with clients to assure assignment progress Maintaining and expanding client relationships through delivery of high quality work Leading, coaching, developing and supervising efforts of junior staff KnowledgeThe incumbent must have proficient knowledge in the following areas:2-5 years of related consulting or industry experience showing progression Outstanding analytical capability and the ability to synthesize findings Demonstrate strong MS Office and data modeling skills Outstanding verbal and written communications skills An MBA or relevant advance degree from a credited educational institution Entrepreneurial, creative, imaginative, independent, motivated, professional and collaborative Applicants must be willing and able to travel to client work locations up to five days/week Personal AttributesThe incumbent must demonstrate the following personal attributes: Behave Ethically: Understand ethical behavior and business practices and ensure that it is consistent with the standards and aligns with the values of DMF Energy's vision.
