As a Staff Cloud Operations Engineer at Conga, you’ll support cloud infrastructure and applications hosted on various cloud platforms. You’ll contribute to platform design, development, implementation and monitoring, collaborating across engineering and non-engineering teams to support our SaaS platform, production environments, and (most importantly) customers.

Conga’s CloudOps team is essential in providing world-class support to our customers. You’ll play a role in ensuring that our products are not only running smoothly, but also that we are continuing to enhance and improve our architecture for availability, performance, and security.
Are you the person we’re looking for?
Related experience. You have 8+ years of experience working with cloud-based IaaS, PaaS, or SaaS. You’ve managed, implemented, and supported highly saleable production systems on cloud platforms, preferably Azure and AWS. You have experience administering Kubernetes infrastructure. You’ve also had experience with scripting and automation using tools like CI/CD tools, Python, PowerShell, Java, Terraform, etc.
Sense of urgency.You’re able to understand the business priorities and can understand the importance to act fast when an issue arises. When you notice a problem and see an issue, you evaluate the risk and act accordingly – that could be solving the problem or bringing it to the attention of others when you can’t.
Initiative.You don’t wait around for things to happen or for your manager to tell you what to do. You’re not only proactive about completing your own work, but when you sense the need to introduce a project that will benefit the team or the organization -- even if it’s outside your scope of work -- you put a proposal together, talk to the team about it, andown it. And that also goes back to having an entrepreneurial spirit.
Education. You’ve successfully completed a bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, or a related field.
Willingness to work outside of standard business hours.Let’s face it – our cloud environments require 24/7 support. As a global company with global customers, the flexibility to work outside of business hours and be on call (rotational schedule) is important to ensure we provide the best support for our customers.
