Working alongside the Product Manager and a group oflike-mindedproduct owners,developers, and stakeholders, you’ll help to build and execute a digital strategy to drive guest loyalty and engagement. The ideal candidate is a champion for digital channel performance and delivery and is passionate about product development. They will have experience driving conversion, leading large scale product initiatives and incorporating pricing and merchandising strategies within an e-commerce platform. This individual shouldexhibit a high standard of excellence, enjoy challenges, be results-driven, and demonstrate the ability to work in an agile environment. This position can be based in Calgary AB or Canada remote; however, preference will be given to Calgary based candidates. Lead end-to-end Product initiatives including using research and discovery, development of user flows,wireframes,and stories (with UX/Design), and ongoing optimization in an Agile manner using Scrum methodology. Manage team deliverables and timelines related to projects, resolving conflicting priorities or removing scope where needed. Define key metrics for digital initiatives and projections/estimated impact while serving as champion on digital channel performance. Research, recommend and lead implementation, where applicable, and suggest enhancements based on analysis of competitive digital channelsand industry trends. Influence and assist on strategic vision for WestJet for your product(s). Develop and manage relationships with business stakeholders to gather well-defined requirements in line with business objectives, manage expectations, and gain sign off on deliverables. Work with other departments (Commercial teams, Customer Relationship Management, Customer Service, IT) to identifyand develop solutions forguestpain pointsand growth opportunities. Effectively managing various levels of stakeholders providing ongoing communication of product roadmaps, updates and risks. Experience and qualifications: CompletedDiploma orBachelor's Degree (Technical/ Business/ Science) Minimum 7+ years of experience working in digital or emerging technology Experience working with an e-commerce, travel, profile, or pricing product Experience with Pricing and Merchandising SAS Experience managing responsive design with a large consumer footprint Experience working in and leadingcross-functional teamsin an agile environment Experience with managing various level of stakeholders include executive level Experience defining scope and managing key deliverables for large projects Experience with software development and an appreciation for project management Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of attention to detail Experience in conversion optimization testing Excellent detailed written, verbal, presentation skills Provenexperience in backlog grooming,userstory development andprioritization Aworking history that shows acommitment to transparency,trust,and collaboration across all levels of seniority A love for education and learning about best-in-class practices, customer experiences, and industry Willingness to mentor junior Product Owners on team Advanced knowledge in the following practices (preferred): User Experience within responsive design SCRUM/Agile Development Web Analytics and KPIs Project management Principles of target markets and customer segments The benefits of being a WestJetter: WestJet provides all WestJetters with a competitive total rewards package.
