We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Full-Stack Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in front-end development using modern React.js practices and back-end development with Java, specifically utilizing servlets or the Spring Boot framework. Additionally, the candidate should have a proven track record of successfully migrating Java projects from Java 8 to Java 17 and experience with various AWS cloud services.


What you'll do
  • Design and develop user interfaces using modern React.js practices, including hooks, functional components, and the context API.
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and deliver high-quality user experiences.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Implement state management using libraries such as Redux or Context API.
  • Develop responsive designs and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
  • Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders to deliver high-quality products.
  • Develop and maintain server-side logic using Java, with a focus on servlets or the Spring Boot framework.
  • Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure APIs.
  • Integrate front-end elements built by your co-workers into the application.
  • Optimize the application for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Lead the migration of Java backend projects from Java 8 to Java 17.
  • Ensure compatibility and performance improvements during and after the migration.
  • Address any issues that arise during the migration process.
  • Utilize various AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and API Gateway to develop and deploy applications.
  • Implement cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as AWS CloudFormation or Terraform.
  • Ensure security best practices are followed, including IAM roles, policies, and VPC configurations.
  • Monitor and optimize cloud resource usage and costs.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and apply them to improve the software development process.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to create a seamless and efficient development process.
What you'll need to get the job done
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience as a Full-Stack Developer or similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in front-end technologies, especially React.js, including hooks, functional components, and context API.
  • Solid experience in back-end technologies using Java, including servlets or Spring Boot framework.
  • Hands-on experience with migrating Java projects from Java 8 to Java 17.
  • Experience with various AWS services, such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and API Gateway.
  • Proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
  • Knowledge of database systems (SQL/NoSQL).
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
What will make us REALLY love you
  • Experience with additional cloud services such as AWS CloudFormation or Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
