Location: Remote with requirement to travel for business needsWhat you'll do:The Sr. Associate Manager, Brand is a key member of the North American business team, supporting our North American model by owning Canadian marketing efforts, business analysis, and innovation for the assigned brands, partnering across the cross-functional landscape in Canada and the US. This includes initiatives associated with driving and tracking brand and business growth, inclusive of physical availability, brand awareness, and consumption analyses. Additionally, the candidate will support new product commercialization including cross functional team leadership and strategy execution. The Sr. Associate Manager, Brand will have the opportunity to work in the better-for-you snacks & beverages categories with tremendous potential for growth. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Develops category and brand expertise to contribute to North America brand strategy development.Partners with NA Business teams to tailor the right assortment, support, and execution in the Canadian market.Identifies key business drivers and opportunities based on competitive/category trends, tracks & reports on business results using syndicated data.Leads project management for key growth driving & margin enhancement projects including commercialization of innovation and renovation for assigned brands, working with R&D, Packaging Design and Operations inclusive of developing detailed timelines and manufacturing forecasts with input from Sales, Operations and Finance.Executes marketing campaigns in the Canadian market.Manages Canadian marketing budget and reporting for the assigned brands.Partners with trade marketing and the Canadian Sales organization to support pricing and promotional strategies.Acts as Company representative for assigned Sales and Retailer brand meetings.Provides backup assistance to other members of the marketing team and assists with other projects, as needed.Who you are:Minimum three years' experience in a consumer-packaged goods marketing.Bachelor's degree, MBA preferred or equivalent experience.Experience with leading a cross functional team projects.Experience analyzing syndicated and marketing data & translating to insights & recommendations that tell a clear & compelling story.Ability to monitor & analyze budgets and report on P/L activity associated with assigned marketing initiatives.Excellent creative instincts and comfort with visual design.Excellent project management and organizational skills, ability to prioritize multiple priorities and strong attention to detail.Self-motivated and strong analytical / problem solving skills.Ability to thrive in a high paced, entrepreneurial work environment and meet business driven deadlines.Strong bias for action. Acts like an owner and can run independently.Computer skills including MS Office programs such as Outlook, Word, Excel PowerPoint.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate (verbal/writing) effectively.Ability to collaborate at all levels of the organization and across other functional areas.Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.Preferred knowledge of the Consumer Product Goods Industry & Canadian CPG market.English language proficiency.
