POSITION OVERVIEW
dormakaba is seeking a Software Quality Assurance Specialist based in Montreal, QC. The Software Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for automating backend functional tests using the Rest Assured framework.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Design and develop test cases for the various components of the application under development.
- Automate API test cases using REST Assured framework.
- Develop automated test cases and acceptance test criteria from product specifications.
- Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings.
- Participate in functional, performance, load, stress, security, and integration testing.
- Participate in company initiatives to improve product quality.
WHAT WE REQUIRE
- 5+ years of experience in Test Automation with RestAssured – Java.
- Understand Agile methodologies, especially Scrum.
- Write and execute test cases.
- Automate API tests.
- Improve product reliability.
WHAT WE PREFER
- Hands-on experience with web-based applications and API web services.
- Good knowledge of QA processes and hands-on experience with preparing test artifacts such as test plan, test strategy & test cases.
