Specialist, Pharmacy Systems Integration (1 Year Contract)

In this role you will be responsible for facilitating a pharmacy’s transition from their current pharmacy management system to New HealthWATCH by providing comprehensive on-site or remote support and training. In addition, the Specialist, Pharmacy Systems Integration will also ensure all store readiness parameters have been met and will perform validation activities to ensure the pharmacy is operational on the new system.

What You’ll Do: 

  • Provide comprehensive remote or in-store support and training on the New HealthWATCH system and other pharmacy software to pharmacy teams in Shoppers Drug Mart or Loblaw pharmacies

  • Validate that all business requirements have been met before opening store on New HealthWATCH

  • Finding opportunities related to the adoption of the New HealthWATCH system and workflow and other Enterprise pharmacy initiatives

  • Liaison with Pharmacy Enhanced Support, Loblaw Technology, Rx Operations, Regional, and Corporate Personnel as required

  • Maintain detailed reporting of technical deficiencies encountered during week of launch

What you Bring:

  • Proven experience in retail pharmacy in either a Shoppers Drug Mart or Loblaw Pharmacy setting  (highly preferred)

  • Ability to travel and work last minute travel assignments (80-100% of the role involves travelling across Canada)

  • Ability to work flexible hours (including evenings and weekends) and within a fast-paced and demanding schedule 

  • Possess a valid Driver’s License

  • Must take initiative and be able to work with little supervision 

  • Individual must be meticulous with program artifacts and processes
