You will hold a strong leadership role for the team regarding the different technological aspects involved.Responsibilities MORE SPECIFICALLY, YOUR ROLE WILL INVOLVE:Guide the creation and evolution of the solution architecture in collaboration with the development teams while adhering to the architectural direction and standards of the organisation;Understand and play a major role in the design and delivery cycle, from ideation to project design, code, testing, deployment and security of the solution;Propose and implement technology directions and delivery in the context of migrating from monolithic systems to a modern service architecture;Mentoring and coaching other team members in architecture practices and issues (organic and technological architecture);Ensure that the solution will be easy to support by encouraging good design and encourage refactoring to minimise technical debt;Collaborate with team members to facilitate the resolution of issues and the completion of project activities;Communicate technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders and build consensus around them;In conjunction with the Product Owner and Product Manager, ensure that non-functional aspects are considered during design and prioritisation.Qualifications CANDIDATE PROFILEBachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering or equivalent experience;Excellent knowledge of security principles;Good understanding of the practical application of DevOps philosophy and Agile methods;Proficiency in a variety of technologies;Ability to work with legacy technologies and support conversion to modern technologies;Excellent leadership, influencing and negotiation skills;Team player, dynamic and innovative;Knowledge of the health-care business domain (an important asset);This position requires bilingualism as the candidate will be working with documentation in French and English, and communicating orally and in writing with French and English speaking suppliers and colleagues.TECHNICAL SKILLS OR EXPERIENCE IN MOST OF THE FOLLOWING AREASCloud native architecture;Container and orchestrator technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes);System migration patterns (e.g. Façade, Strangler Pattern);Modelling techniques such as Domain-Driven-Design;Up-to-date security practices;Integration patterns, backend (e.g. events, synchronous/asynchronous messages, pub-sub, RESTful API) UI (e.g. Javascript);Deployment and operationalisation of a distributed system;Mastering operational aspects such as resilience, observability, discovery and routing;High availability deployment;Optimisation of high volume solutions;HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Java, .Net, RESTful services, Oracle;Angular and C# technologies (an asset)Technologies and best practices related to continuous integration, continuous delivery and automation (e.g. Git, Artifactory, Azure DevOps, Ansible, Terraform, Powershell).LOGIBEC OFFERSGroup RRSP with employer participation, and group insurance as of your first dayFlexible hours and competitive vacation allotmentPermanent teleworking possibilitiesContinuous training, career development and advancement opportunitiesProjects integrating the Agile methodologyAn expertise of over 450 employees across CanadaAn organizational culture where grit, teamwork, a commitment to excellence, and striving to make a difference for our clients are at the center of our corporate values.If this position sounds like it would be a good fit for you,we want to work with you!Apply now!#J-18808-Ljbffr
