About the team + role 

The Money Movement team’s mission is to grow Robinhood's businesses by make funding and transferring money into, out of, and within Robinhood easy, fast, and safe.

As a software developer on the team, you will play a pivotal role in redefining the way our users manage and move their money. You'll help craft seamless, secure, and instant payment experiences and work with teams across Robinhood to help them reach ambitious goals like international expansion.

What you’ll do

  • Own and drive user facing payment features from inception and design to implementation and launch
  • Build upon Robinhood's payment platform to support and enable funding needs for teams across the company
  • Collaborate with design, product, and data experts to rapidly iterate and ship financial products
  • Improve system performance, team productivity, and reduce risk…

What you bring

  • 3+ years of software developer experience
  • You have experience successfully collaborating with product managers, frontend engineers, and data scientists to launch a/b tests and roll out new product features.
  • Strong coding skills with demonstrated proficiency in programming languages, such as Python, Go, or similar languages
  • You have experience setting a high standard for code and technical design quality through review processes.
  • Experience working with GRPC, SQL, Kafka, Airflow or similar technologies
  • Bonus Points: Experience at a fintech company or in the payments space
