We pride ourselves on our commitment to integrity and excellence.The Social Media Specialist will lead weekly campaigns, create new campaigns to advance organizational goals, and manage all social media and copy. Reporting to the Senior Product Manager, they will ensure that campaign plans are developed, aligned with marketing goals, and effectively executed. This includes coordinating marketing efforts with clients, measuring results to make data-driven decisions and maintaining a monthly content calendar. Additionally, they will create visually appealing images and videos, stay current on trends, and build relationships with our audience and members within the branding guidelines.Job ResponsibilitiesMaintain weekly notification templates such as Alerts and Winner reveals and create new campaigns to advance organizational/client goals.Work with influencers and photographers, creating partnerships and collaboration opportunities and agreements.Develop comprehensive campaign plans aligned with marketing goals.Coordinate marketing efforts, manage SM budgets, and measure campaign effectiveness via analytics (Google & SM platforms).Create visually appealing images and/or short videos, and schedule posts using social media management tools.Respond promptly to comments and messages and regularly engage with mentions, tags and audience.Utilize targeted advertising and A/B testing to reach specific demographics.Analyze performance data to identify successful strategies and areas for improvement.Continuously seek opportunities to optimize content and advertising to reduce expenses, maximize organic results, increase followers and reach, and promote our client(s) NB charity causes and culture.Assist with any additional responsibilities relating to campaigns, marketing, contesting, advertising, and promotions as needed.As an ideal candidate you will have a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field and 2-4 years of experience in social media management, project management, and/or sales is preferred. Ability to use graphic design tools such as Photoshop, Figma, and others. Ability to think creatively and strategically. Knowledge of all social media channels. Ability to communicate professionally to create partnerships with our client content creators, photographers, and others. Bilingual in English and French is necessary.As a successful candidate you will have Experience using Microsoft Teams and Sharepoint is preferred. Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple projects. Excellent judgment in setting priorities, problems, and solutions. Strong organizational skills and reliable work habits.
