WALTER Surface Technologies is seeking a talented and creative Social Media Specialist to join our dynamic marketing team in Montreal. In this role, you will have the opportunity to shape our social media strategy, build brand awareness, and engage with our community of customers and partners.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to enhance brand visibility, drive engagement, and support business objectives for WALTER and its family of brands including Allegro and Greenfield Industries!Create compelling content for social media platforms including but not limited to Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube.Manage all social media channels for all WALTER brands, including scheduling posts, monitoring comments and messages, and analyzing performance metrics.Collaborate with internal teams to align social media efforts with marketing campaigns, product launches, and company initiatives to ensure consistency and cohesiveness in brand messaging.Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.Cultivate relationships with influencers, industry experts, and brand advocates to amplify our reach and credibility.A passion for staying informed about emerging technologies and industry trends in social media marketing.Qualifications:Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.Proven experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role, with a strong track record of developing and executing successful social media campaigns.Deep understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and analytics tools.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and creativity.Ability to think strategically, analyze data, and adapt quickly to changing priorities.Strong project management skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Experience with social media management tools such as Sprout Social and HubSpot.Knowledge of basic graphic design principles and experience with tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.Passion for innovation, sustainability, and making a positive impact in the industry.Join Our Team:At WALTER Surface Technologies, we believe in empowering our employees to reach their full potential and make a difference.
