Job Description

Organizational Description: Walk The Rainbow is a youth led, winnipeg based organization dedicated to destigmatizing 2sLGBTQ+ identities, and educating the community.

The goal of Walk The Rainbow is to take meaningful actions towards 2SLGBTQ+ issues. These actions include workshops, speeches, social media awareness, fundraising, and more.

Volunteer Opportunity Details

Volunteer Opportunity ID: 5201

Description of Duties:

• Creating the monthly content calendar for the social media team
• Delegating tasks to members of the social media team
• Setting appropriate goals based on the wants and needs of the organization
• Scheduling meetings with the team as needed
• Being the prime source of communication for the team
• Create and put out content alongside content creators
• Observe and communicate social media trends
• Upkeep team morale
• Review volunteer applications, make decisions on whether to accept/deny them,
communicate with suitable volunteers and onboard them
