ThinkSocial is a service offering that caters to small and medium sized business’ to give them a more frequent media presence and increase visibility with both current and future customers. As a Social Media Analyst & Content Creator, youll play a crucial role in the delivery of ThinkSocial and be at the forefront of client engagement engagement.. Leveraging your expertise in social media marketing, design, photography, and creative tools, youll collaborate with clients to develop compelling marketing content and Meta Ads. Additionally, youll have the opportunity to go on-site to collect content, ensuring our social media channels reflect the dynamic nature of the workplaces and clients we serve.This role will start as a 3 month contract with possibility for extension into full-time. Hours will vary and likely begin at 30 per week building up to 35-40 once more projects are onboarded.Key Responsibilities:Content Strategy and Creation:Work closely with clients to develop strategic content plans aligned with their objectives and our brand identity.Create visually captivating and engaging social media posts, including graphics, videos, and written copy, that resonate with our target audience.Utilize your design skills to produce high-quality visuals that tell compelling stories and drive engagement on social media platforms.Community Engagement and Management:Advise client on monitoring social media channels and engage with audiences to foster meaningful connections and build brand loyalty.Analyze social media performance metrics and insights to identify trends, track campaign effectiveness, and inform future content strategies.Client Collaboration and Communication:Collaborate closely with clients to understand their unique needs and preferences, providing creative recommendations and solutions to enhance their social media presence.Communicate effectively with clients to gather feedback, clarify requirements, and ensure alignment on content direction and deliverables.Required Skills and Qualifications:Proficiency in creative tools such as Figma and Canva, with the ability to create visually stunning content.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and internal teams.Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a passion for storytelling and visual communication.Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.Knowledge of social media platforms and trends, with a keen understanding of audience behavior and engagement metrics.Hold a valid Drivers License and have reliable transportation for frequent client site commutingProven experience in social media marketing with a strong portfolioHaving experience in photography, and videography is a strong asset, but not a requirement.Additional Information:This is a 3 month contract position with possibility for extension based in our downtown Calgary office with travel to client sites for content collection supervision.
