We are currently recruiting on behalf of a privately-owned Hospital in Peterborough, ON - they are adding an Associate DVM to their busy thriving Veterinary Practice. This opportunity is open to candidates who have graduated from an accredited Veterinary school and can possess full licensure in Ontario. Qualifications
- A positive, friendly demeanor is a must! You will be depended upon to uphold their professional standards and integrity as well as support and participate in positive practice culture.
- Knowledgeable and skilled (or have an interest) in the practice of veterinary medicine and general soft tissue surgery.
- Team oriented with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff.
- Wanting to provide excellent veterinary medicine through diagnostic and treatment plans, practicing integrative medicine and embolden follow-through by clients.
- Continued interest in professional growth and the growth and success of the practice.
- An educational approach to client communication. The more clients know – the better care they can take of their pets!
- An interest in practicing integrative medicine or bringing a personal specialty to our patients is encouraged.
Compensation and Benefits:
- A work life balance -3.5 day work week (with ½ day on Saturday every 3rd week). Theirhours are Monday - Thursday 8 am – 6 pm, Friday 8 am – 5 pm and Saturday 9 am – 1 pm.
- No On-Call required.
- A competitive salary of $135,000.00+/annum commensurate with experience (with ultrasound experience there will be further compensation).
