Job Description
Location: Ottawa ON Term: Contract High Tech Genesis is looking for a Site Manager as intermittent back-up and to oversee Shipping/Receiving operations, assist the IT team during the NSA transition, monitor secure facility access, and escort contractors, cleaners, and other personnel in secure areas.This person will be responsible for: Communication and coordination:Accepting and sorting all incoming and outgoing mailAnswering and directing calls for the main telephone lineCoordinating box breakdown and recyclingHandling building requests and reportingFacilities maintenance:Maintaining clean whiteboards and conference roomsOverseeing conference room chairs and copy areas on all floorsManaging desk name tags and office space updatesEnsuring kitchen and plant maintenanceOperations support:Conducting daily floor checks for discrepanciesProviding day porter services and emergency cleanupsMaintaining the Envoy Visitor Management SystemLogistics and inventory management:Handling shipping and receiving, including maintaining shipping logs (local and international imports and exports)Safety and compliance:Monitoring security cameras and ensuring site safety (JHSC)Administrative support:Maintaining facility procedure manuals and filing systemsSupporting HR, recruiting teams, and on-site event managementSupervising day porters and providing backup/ad hoc supportHigh Tech Genesis Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
