Job posting end date: 06/27/2024 Introduction We are seeking a site account manager to join our sales and services team. You will be responsible for focussing on building and maintaining active long term relationships with key decision-makers at the site level and continuously promoting Metso's value-adding offering. this position, you will report to Justin Ayotte, Vice President, Sales & Service, Canada. This position is mainly located in Prince George, BC but we are happy to offer flexible working arrangements, including hybrid options. however, it involves up to 60% travel on site. Team you belong to You will join a team of site account managers dedicated to propose ambitious / growth driven order intake budgets for approval, continuously forecast and deliver on order intake and net sales budgets. What you’ll do Knows, documents, and shares who the key people at the site are, what their responsibilities are, and what their decision-making authority is. Decides and has full visibility on customer activities like visits and meetings by any Metso function. Ensures seamless co-operation with customers and Metso functions. SAM seeks and coordinates for best resources and channels to be used for customer-facing activities (not a post office!) Understands customer business and is capable to argue Metso’s added value. Targets and delivers profitable business growth from allocated sites. Drives site sales activities as well as related strategic planning together with cross-organizational site account team. Understands Customer’ Capex and Opex-related decisions and buying timetable. Ultimately responsible for Metso's business development, with the objective to enhance a long-term partnership. Ensures that all the leads and opportunities are correctly managed in CRM. Maintains and shares information of installed base, performance, and shut down dates. Conducts continuous business reviews with the customer and Metso teams. SAM has the authority to decide on resource use for promotional customer work according to plan and budget. Leads a unified Metso approach towards the customer at the dedicated site and ensures efficient information sharing between Customer and Metso’s organization Responsible that the findings, concerns, problems at the site are continuously documented and followed-up (also together with the customer) based on Metso continuous improvement principles. SAM vigilantly supports Accounts Receivable and payment collections as may be required. Who you are 5+ years minimum in managing key accounts within the minerals or metals industry Greater than 60% of time spent on site Experience in the area of Sales, Account Management, and Customer Relationship Management Experience in working in or closely with sales, product management, and services Knowledge of CRM based systems A high level of computer skills is essential – Excel, Word, and Outlook Ability to be both strategic and tactical. Able to see the big picture, plan, and organize effectively Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
