Job Description

We are looking for an organized self sufficient multitasker to join our team on the ground floor in an immediate role. Your primary job will be to process online orders for shipping, label/package products and keep inventory clean and organized in our warehouse. This will be a part-time contract position with the opportunity to quickly grow into a full time role with more responsibilities for the right person. Tasks.Process and print shipping labels using online shipping software. Accurately pick and package products from warehouse. Neatly fold and handle apparel and other products for retail visual presentation. Repetitive product processing such as labeling, tagging, folding, packaging. Stock and organize warehouse shelves according to SKU numbers, sizes, product types, etc. Handle pallets of boxed products including wrapping and moving with a pallet jack. Schedule pickups and communicate with carriers and customers regarding pickups and delivery. Work alone to keep inventory and warehouse clean, organized and efficient. Maintain excellent brand and product presentation with consistent high quality standards. Location.This job is located in Vancouver, BC working at our brand new work space near Olympic Village. It’s in a perfect spot close to SkyTrain with food and other amenities nearby. Compensation.$25 per hour (negotiable with experience). Must Have.Ability to repetitively perform physical work including lifting boxes that weigh 40+ lbs. Skills and experience using various computer programs with the ability to learn new platforms quickly. Experience with Shipstation or a similar programs with tables, charts, databases, lists of orders/customers, etc. Adaptability and ability to learn quickly and take direction well. Capability to work alone or in small team as needed. A positive attitude and a team player mindset. Love of dogs. Nice to Have.Warehouse experience. Advanced skills or experience with the Shipstation platform. Retail experience especially with apparel. Experience or knowledge of shipping carriers such as FedEx and Canada Post. Experience with importing/exporting procedures with CBSA. Ability to drive a delivery truck or van, although that is not a current component of the job.#J-18808-Ljbffr
