Kaycan has an exciting career opportunity for a Shift Supervisor based in Smith Falls to join our team. This is a great chance to join a Top Employer and contribute to our growth and success.Under the supervision of the Lead Supervisor, the Shift Supervisor will manage a team and plan production activities.Schedule: Continental Shift – 2 weeks days and 2 weeks of nightsShifts: 12 hoursTasks:Ensuring compliance with our high quality standardsEnsure the management of the production team in place for the shiftApply and enforce occupational health and safety rulesEnsure the smooth running of operations on production linesReview and submit production reportsInform managers of production trendsReport any non-compliant situations and discuss the actions to be takenEnsuring sound management of discipline and labour relationsProvide technical support when requiredCollaborate with quality and maintenance departmentsRequirements:3-5 years of experience in personnel management3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environmentExperience managing unionized staff – An assetKnowledge of coil coatingGood knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety standardsExcellent communication skillsStrength for teamworkPositive LeaderAbility to prioritizeProblem-solving strengthResults-orientedRecognized strength for work organizationAbout Us:Here’s what we do…Kaycan is a subsidiary of Saint-Gobain, one of the top 100 industrial companies in the world.
