Job Description

Junior Maintenance Mechanic X 1: Pay Rate: $50K to $68K Senior Maintenance Mechanic X 1: Pay Rate:$85K to $100K We at Raise are hiring for one of our key clients in the Beverage industry. They’re looking to improve their production quality and capacity by adding new members to their team. If you’ve got relevant skills and experience, they’ve got shifts and rates that could be a great match for your needs. Perform routine and preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure efficient operation and minimize downtime. ● Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on a variety of equipment, including conveyors, pumps, motors, and production machinery. ● Ensure operating safety devices function properly on completion of repairs, modifications, and installations. ● Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, breakdowns, and repairs in the maintenance management system. ● Inventory and manage spare parts, ensuring critical components are available and properly stored. ● Organize, label, and clean the maintenance area and tools using 5S principles. ● Collaborate with the production, sanitation and quality teams to schedule maintenance activities without disrupting schedules. Assist in the continuous improvement of the PM program, presenting new ideas for maintenance enhancements. ● Ensure all maintenance activities comply with SQF, GMP, Health and Safety, Food Safety, and HACCP standards, maintaining a clean and safe work environment. ● Adhere to all company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards technical certification or degree in industrial maintenance, mechanical engineering, or a related field preferred. ● Proven experience as a maintenance millwright in a manufacturing or industrial environment. ● Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical components. ● Familiarity with SQF, GMP, Health and Safety, Food Safety, and HACCP standards and practices. ● Proficient in reading and interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics. ● Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed. ● Basic computer skills for documenting maintenance activities and managing inventory. ● We can help We believe strongly in making the world a better place through work, which is why we’re a certified B Corporation and donate 10% of our profits to charity.
