Summary of the Proposed Position:

To meet the needs of its clients in the IT sector, FOP EXPERTS CONSEILS is looking for motivated SharePoint Specialists for various projects. The main tasks would include managing sites and IT networks, ensuring the maintenance and security of SharePoint, training staff on the procedures for using IT tools, and making recommendations.

Specific Responsibilities:

Without being limited to them, the main responsibilities of the position are as follows:

• With their skills in web development and system administration, the SharePoint Specialist supports teams in creating and managing collaborative websites, workflows, lists, groups, and other features;
• Design and implement enterprise information architectures, including site solutions, site templates, content types, and managed properties;
• Develop and implement taxonomy and governance strategies;
• Develop and implement SharePoint security and authentication models in collaboration with the security team;
• Participate in the creation and documentation of strategies for migrating SharePoint sites to SharePoint Online;
• Conduct migration proof of concepts;
• Manage performance and capacity;
• Protect and recover data in a SharePoint Online environment;
• Create sites and deploy applications in SharePoint and Azure.

Profile Description:

• A minimum of eight (8) years of experience in the IT field in development OR maintenance OR system evolution, with at least five (5) years as a SharePoint analyst-developer;
• In the past eight (8) years, have completed at least one (1) project, with a scope of at least 120 person-days, to implement and create a new SharePoint in an organization;
• In the past five (5) years, have completed at least one (1) project, with a scope of at least 220 person-days, to maintain and modify a SharePoint;
• Excellent proficiency in the MS Office suite;
• Good communication and writing skills in French and English.
