From major construction projects to regular service work to the safety provided by our fire protection division, we approach our work with an industry-leading commitment to excellence and a keen awareness of our customers’ business needs.We are currently recruiting for a Plumbing/Mechanical/Boiler Service Technician.Qualifications:Troubleshooting and repair heating systems (pressure and temperature issues), high-rise domestic water systems, and domestic water boiler experienceKnowledge of how to drain and pre-charge expansion tanksKnowledge of boilersTroubleshooting and repairing circ pumps for domestic water and closed loop systems (changing couplers, sealed bearing assemblies and amping pumps)High-rise water and heating systems and how to set them upTroubleshooting and repairing 3” and 4” Pressure Reducing Valves in high-rise buildingsDiagnosing cross connections for both hot and cold systemsBasic electrical knowledge / troubleshooting skillsTroubleshooting of sump pumps experiencing issues. Set up float levels.Replacing and troubleshooting of commercial storage tanksKnowledge of steam systemsQuoting labor and material for all types of repairs4 plus years experience as a Red Seal Service TechnicianClean Valid Class 5 driver’s licenseHardworking/ReliableBoiler, high-rise building, electrical or controls experience preferredClean and tidy appearanceGood written and communication skills.Backflow ticket with knowledge on testing and repairing backflowsClass B Gas ticket (preferred)Red seal ticket (preferred)Backflow Ticket (preferred)Why Choose PML Professional Mechanical Ltd Mechanical?At PML we value our skilled employees and are always looking for ways to offer opportunities for growth and advancement within the company.
