Desired Qualities
- Strong understanding of Search Engine Optimisation methods and how to implement them effectively.
- Experience driving “relevant” organic web traffic to client websites.
- Capable of evaluating business Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and assessing the impact of SEO activities on overall business growth.
- Ability to simplify complex ideas and communicate effectively with non-SEO stakeholders.
- Technical & Programming Skills to understand development challenges and collaborate with developers.
- Understanding effort vs impact, evaluating the effort required to drive results.
- Prioritization skills for better return on investment from SEO campaigns.
- Ability to analyze and report on analytics events, providing insightful evaluations of SEO campaign effectiveness.
- Familiarity with analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Search Console.
- Passion for SEO and digital marketing, with a drive to continuously learn and adapt.
- Willingness to conduct thorough research on clients, their industries, and competitors.
Responsibilities
- Develop and articulate a clear vision for the SEO division, aligning with the company’s goals and objectives.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and changes in search engine algorithms.
- Formulate comprehensive SEO strategies tailored to the needs of clients and partners.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement strategic initiatives.
Achieve
- Drive the execution of SEO campaigns, ensuring the delivery of measurable results.
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics, making data-driven adjustments.
Guide
- Provide guidance and mentorship to team members.
- Offer strategic insights and recommendations to internal teams and clients.
Qualifications
- A resident and citizen of India.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or Marketing; preference for a Master’s degree.
- Professional SEO and SEM Certification.
- Proven work experience of 5+ years in an agency, successfully leading teams and managing SEO campaigns for clients from the US, Canada, or Europe.
- Deep knowledge of SEO trends, strategies, and practices.
- Advanced knowledge of technical aspects of SEO, content marketing, and search techniques.
- Extensive knowledge of analytic tools such as Ahrefs, SEMRush, Search Console, Data Studio, Moz, Google Analytics 4, etc.
- Demonstrate critical thinking in content creation discussions.
- Familiarity with operating in an Apple environment and using native Apple software (Pages, Numbers, Keynote) is an advantage.
