Great, here’s who we’re looking for…The SEO Coordinator works closely with the SEO team and other internal stakeholders to help clients improve their search engine ranking through optimization strategies and technical SEO recommendations. They manage and implement day-to-day SEO tasks for retainers, and support SEO Strategists as required. What You Will DoPerform SEO activities including, but not limited to, keyword research, competitor research, content, and website performance analysisMaintain SEO keywords trends chartsUtilize site scanning tools to find and fix technical SEO issues, as neededUse a variety of SEO tactics including site architecture, on-page, off-page and local SEO to improve clients’ visibility in search results Complete tasks that support backlinking and outreach strategiesWork closely with an SEO Strategist to coordinate SEO tasks for multiple clientsFollow up with the Accounts team and other departments as required to ensure relevant tasks are completed accordinglyContinuously think of ways to improve SEO strategies and tactics and help implement those changesParticipate in SEO team training activitiesStay up to date on SEO and integrated marketing trendsAssist with other SEO activities as required0-2 years of SEO experiencePost-secondary education in marketing, communications, or equivalent experienceFamiliarity with technical SEO tools (i.e., Screaming Frog, DeepCrawl, etc.) and keyword tools (i.e. SEMRush, Ahrefs, etc.)Familiarity with CMS (Content Management Systems) such as Wordpress and DrupalDemonstrated ability to write and create content for SEO and/or social mediaAble to take constructive criticism as a learning opportunity and apply feedback as neededProven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communicationHighly organized with the ability to function in a fast-paced business environmentFamiliarity with analytics, GBP listings and/or social media campaigns is considered an assetOur benefits are anything but basic, with vacation time available on day one (not to mention an extra bonus week during the holidays), an annual travel credit (for non-work related travel), and free office snacks and drinks to keep you energized when you’re around.In addition, we offer the following and are consistently looking for new ways to enhance the benefits we offer to our team:100% premium share option for Group Health Insurance (medical, dental, vision), with a health spending account to top up your claimsA wellness spending accountCompany matching RRSP programTop up for Parental/Pregnancy leaveRemote and flexible work arrangementsTransit and fitness discountsRecreational sports teamsLearning and development opportunities with a multitude of resourcesInternal recognition programs
