About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Vue.js Developer with experience in both Vue.js 2 and 3, as well as some experience with Angular. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of web components, be a self-starter, excel in remote team environments, and possess excellent communication skills in English. This role requires a strong sense of ownership and the ability to drive the development and enhancement of our frontend architecture.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable web applications using Vue.js 2 and 3.
  • Take ownership of the frontend architecture, ensuring it is scalable, maintainable, and aligns with best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
  • Implement and manage frontend architecture.
  • Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and share best practices with team members.
  • Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
  • Provide some support and development with Angular as needed.
  • Document changes and new features clearly and comprehensively.
  • Mentor junior developers and provide guidance to team members.
  • Demonstrate strong self-motivation and the ability to take ownership of projects and initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Senior Vue.js Developer.
  • Strong proficiency in Vue.js 2 and 3.
  • Good understanding of web components.
  • Some experience with Angular.
  • Experience working in a remote team environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills in English.
  • Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries.
  • Proficiency in unit testing with frameworks such as Jest.
  • Ability to write and maintain unit tests.
  • Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Strong documentation skills for changes and new features.
  • Experience in mentoring and guiding junior developers.
  • Strong sense of ownership and ability to drive frontend architectural decisions.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in frontend development.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering projects in a remote setting.

Contract Details:

  • One-year contract with the possibility of extension.
  • Standard working hours, with a required start time between 7 and 8 AM to facilitate collaboration with team members in different time zones.
