The Role

We are looking for an experienced and visionary Senior Vice President, General Manager to lead and grow Freight Club. If you are looking to make an impact to grow and scale our business to the next level, this role is for you. Come join us in reshaping the future.

You will be responsible for the overall strategy, performance, and profitability of the business unit. You will manage the sales and product management teams and collaborate with other functions such as marketing, finance, operations, customer service, logistics, people & culture, technology, and analytics. You will report directly to the CEO of Cymax Group Technologies and have full P&L responsibility for Freight Club.

Who You Are

• Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills, with a high degree of creativity and innovation
• Strong sales and product management skills, with a customer-centric and data-driven approach
• Proven track record of leading and growing successful businesses, with full P&L responsibility and accountability
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and inspire diverse audiences across a range of business functions
• 10+ years of experience in senior management roles, preferably in logistics, e-commerce, or technology sectors
• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field; MBA or equivalent preferred
• Passionate about Freight Club's mission and vision, and aligned with Cymax Group Technologies' culture and values

What You’ll Do

• Develop and execute the business strategy and vision for Freight Club, aligned with the company's goals and values
• Drive revenue growth and profitability by expanding the customer base, increasing retention, and optimizing pricing and margins
• Lead and mentor the sales and product management teams, setting clear objectives, providing feedback, and fostering a culture of excellence and innovation
• Oversee the product management / roadmap / prioritization for the Freight Club application, ensuring it delivers value to customers and stakeholders
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key partners, such as carriers, vendors, and industry associations
• Monitor and analyze the market trends, customer feedback, and competitive landscape, and identify new opportunities and challenges for Freight Club
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies, and manage risks and issues effectively
• Communicate and report on the performance, progress, and plans of Freight Club to the CEO and the board of directors
