About The Opportunity
A growing software company, headquartered in the U.S. with a growing contingent of remote Canadian talent, is looking for a Senior UX Developer to join their growing R&D group. With over 25 years of history, this well-known telecommunications software brand has hundreds of customers globally and continues to gobble up market share. This individual will collaborate closely with Front-End Developers, Product Owners, and customers in order to design and develop intuitive, scalable, and consistent user experience design across the entire platform.
Although this company offers a competitive compensation package, they are rather known for their innovative software solutions and business growth. Although this software company is 100% remote-friendly, only candidates in Canada in the eastern timezone (ET) will be considered.
About You
The successful candidate will have the following:
Degree/Diploma in Interaction Design (IxD), Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), UX Design, Graphic Design, Computer Science, Software/Computer Engineering, or equivalent
6+ years of UX design experience designing complex interface and user interaction layouts and graphics, ideally within a telecommunications or software product environment
Experience with UX tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch, InVision, etc.
Good interpersonal skills as well as the ability to work both in team and autonomous (remote) environments
Attitude and aptitude takes precedence over a perfect technical match.
