Senior Treasury AnalystThis role will appeal to a candidate that wishes to gain a greater understanding of global cash markets, debt capital markets and become a part of Linamar’s growing and expanding global footprint. This is an in-office position located in Guelph, ONPerformance ExpectationsReporting to the Treasury Manager, the Senior Treasury Analyst role will be an integral part of the treasury team, playing a key role supporting and developing the Company’s global cash, debt, and derivative reporting requirements within North America, LATAM, Asia and Europe. Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:Develop and manage the cash forecasting process in order to determine the optimal short- and long-term debt/borrowing requirementsPreparation of the quarter-end public disclosures on bank covenants, financial instruments, long-term debt, and interest expenseManage the monthly process to ensure that adjustments made throughout the month for related to Linamar’s global debt is accurately tracked and coordinate the statement process with the Consolidations teamBecome the subject management expert (SME) on the Company’s Treasury & Risk Workstation Reval, developing a deep understanding of the systems derivative, cash management and hedge accounting capabilitiesPrepare the month-end reporting package for derivative MTM, hedge accounting, debt, and inter-company loansReviewing terms and conditions of Letters of Credits and Bank GuaranteesBecome a key contact within the Treasury Department providing support to various internal stakeholders related to bankingAd Hoc projects as assigned within the groupCredentialsA degree or diploma in Finance or Business or a related disciplineCPA Designation is a mustPreference will be given to candidates that have or are pursuing CFA or CTP certificationsExperience with Treasury Workstations are an assetThree to five years of experience working in TreasuryKnowledge of banking/Treasury in a domestic and global environmentKnowledge of financial instruments, pricing behavior and an understanding of domestic/global economicsMust have strong technical and analytical excel and coding skillsAbility to work in a fully computerized environment including advanced Excel and Word skills, knowledge of Excel, AS400, SAP BPC, OneStream, IFS systems is an assetKnowledge and experience with IFRS and hedge accounting would be an assetDesired CharacteristicsMust be highly analytical with sound business judgment and attention to detail.Ability to work in a fast paced and evolving environment.Must be a highly motivated, self-starter, who is constantly interested in improving processesStrong verbal and written communication skills.What Linamar Has To OfferOpportunities for career advancement.Community based outreach supporting both local and global initiatives and charities.Social committees and sports teams.Discounts for local vendors and events, including auto supplier discounts.About UsLinamar Corporation is a Canadian diversified global manufacturing company of highly engineered products across global industries & markets.
