Role PurposeReporting to GIP Treasury Lead, The Senior Treasury Analyst will work closely with the Corporate Finance, Shared Services, Tax, IT, Procurement and Operational teams to maintain and further standardize GIP treasury operations and cash management processes across legal entities and business divisions in order to best serve Company’s growing business needs.The successful candidate will also assist Director, Treasury with the equipment lease financing program’s implementation and its execution permanently. Likewise the ideal candidate will partner with GIP's Tax Manager to support the Annual Tax Planning Strategy from a liquidity perspective, while actively assisting GIP Treasury Lead in keeping Govt. Tax remittance filings in good standing across GIP legal entities and divisionsThis new role is critical to GIP’s long-term growth and represents an exciting opportunity for a finance professional looking to build a long-term career in Treasury and Risk Management within the construction industry. The ideal candidate will also have experience implementing best practices to optimize working capital (APs/ARs) and cash flow forecasting processes in fast-paced and high-growth profile organizations. In addition, the role will bring a proven ability to drive efficiency through process improvement and new technological tools. Teamwork and positivity are key foundations of this growing finance group’s culture at GIP.Expand, monitor, and maintain the Equipment Lease Financing Program such that it an optimal source of funding available to support GIP Capex investing activity a permanent basis. Lead Equipment Lease payments recs for month-end closing purposes. Key user of the Lease Accelerator application.Manage and maintain Govt. tax remittance filings in good standing across GIP legal and divisions.Assist with monthly reconciliation of banking activity as part of GIP Treasury month end Preparing and uploading Month End Journal Entries to record Treasury related in JDE system for Director, Treasury approval.Assist with continuous improvement actions that benefit the weekly cash flow forecasting capabilities and the existing treasury reporting dashboards.Identify areas of improvement across GIP’s P2P workflow to eliminate and further reduce lead times involved in the AP/AR payment/collection cycle across lines of business and divisions.Co-Lead shared services continuous improvement initiatives, business process compliance of Treasury controls and support audit requirements as needed.Position Requirements: University Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Engineering.5 years of comprehensive experience in cash management and treasury operations business processes or finance-related processes.Strong Excel and Financial modeling skills and general competence with Microsoft Office programs.Comfortable learning and developing technical knowledge in Treasury and ERP.Comfortable with a rapidly growing and dynamic environment.Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and meet deliverables.A high energy, collaborative thinker, and detailed oriented individual with strong motivation of exceeding expectations when delivering results.Strong organizational, analytical, judgment and decision-making skills with abilities in problem-solving.High level of integrity, confidentiality, and accountability.Time management and tasks prioritizing skills.Results-driven with an ability to deliver success in a fast-paced environmentOutcome-focused, critical thinker with the ability to analyze and visualize to ensure continuous improvement across our businessAbility to connect and interact with people to seek different perspectives.Superb communication and interpersonal skillsStrong ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple competing prioritiesDemonstrate versatility and resourcefulness in overcoming business challengesOur purpose At Green Infrastructure Partners (GIP), our people are second to none.
