As a global-leading health and well-being provider – encompassing physical, mental and financial health – TELUS Health is improving health outcomes for consumers, patients, healthcare professionals, employers and employees. _____Location:Mississauga Job Function:Clinical / Health Status:Permanent Schedule:Part-time (3 days/week) As aSenior Therapist , you will be responsible for using evidence-based tools to assess, design, monitor and supervise ABA interventions for children.The Senior Therapist will be required to collaborate with family members, interdisciplinary team members and other health care professionals to achieve excellence in health services and education. Why Join TELUS Health Children's Support: A benefit plan from day 1 of employment;Paid time off for vacation, wellbeing, and professional development days;Pension plan with 100% company matching;Clinical supervision to support career growth;Access to TELUS Health EFAP and Wellbeing services;A leading clinical network dedicated to increasing access to quality care.Responsibilities:Clinical (70%): Lead team meetings and work collaboratively with caregivers and other professionals.Oversee implementation of behaviour support plans and protocols, including objectives, data collection, monitoring and data analysis.Record curriculum assessment results, prepare data summaries, reports and be able to conduct integrity checks on data collection.Conduct Functional Analyses.Evaluate and assess risk along with development of plans to mitigate risk due to maladaptive behaviour of the supported person.Supervision and Professional Development (20%): May be asked to provide supervision hours for Registered Behaviour Technician (RBT) candidates.Supervise and mentor Instructor and Lead Instructor Therapists.Administrative/Procedural(10%): Consults with Clinical Supervisor and colleagues regarding clients, clinic needs and related issues.Manages personal scheduling using case management/billing system.Qualifications: Must have a Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).Must be a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).Minimum of 2 years' experience working as an Instructor Therapist with children with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD).Excellent management, problem solving, communication, interpersonal, and organization skills.Available to work Saturdays.#LI-SA1 A bit about us We’re a people-focused, customer-first, purpose-driven team who works together every day to innovate and do good.
