Senior Technical Program Manager, AutomotiveSoundHound AI believes every person should be able to interact naturally with the products around them–by simply talking. With a global reach spanning two dozen languages, we build Voice AI products with conversational intelligence for cars, restaurant ordering, and more, allowing our customers to extend their brand in new and meaningful ways. We are searching for a Senior Technical Program Manager to oversee the development and deployment of our voice AI technology across global partnerships including top automakers. This role requires a solid technical background in Linux and Python, with C++ knowledge as a bonus. Leadership, strong project management, and the ability to work effectively across diverse cultural backgrounds are essential. In this role, you will:Lead and coordinate engineering teams focusing on developing advanced voice assistant systems. Serve as the primary point of technical contact for international partners, managing expectations and ensuring clear communication across cultural boundaries. Develop detailed project documentation, oversee project scope, schedule, and deployment. Address and mitigate project risks, spearheading problem resolution to ensure project success. Foster a collaborative international work environment, respecting and integrating diverse cultural perspectives in project planning and execution. We would love to hear from you if:You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Your experience in technical program management includes Linux, Python, C++, ASR or other AI technologies. You demonstrated ability in leading cross-functional and cross-cultural teams, managing complex projects in a dynamic, international environment. You have been involved in large automotive projects. The work location for this role is limited to the Toronto Area. Employees within a 100-kilometer radius of our Toronto office are expected to work from the office on three pre-scheduled “core days” each month to encourage cross-team connection and in-person collaboration.
