SENIOR TECHNICAL FUNCTIONAL ANALYST (Finance and FP&A)

The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Senior Techno-Functional Analyst with expertise in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), specifically focused on Finance modules and FP&A applications. In this role, you will engage in technology activities related to the implementation of Workday Adaptive Planning (WAP), integrating it with Oracle EBS and other BC Ferries applications. Additionally, you will learn the WAP system to provide ongoing support and maintenance after it goes live, alongside your responsibilities for Oracle EBS.
The Role
Reporting to the IT Manager, you add value to the team by key areas of oversight such as:
Actively participating as a technical analyst in the WAP implementation, including requirements validation with the vendor team, business design, and technical design (including integrations, reporting, and data migration)
Engaging in functional/technical IT testing and UAT from a technology standpoint
Providing ongoing support and maintenance for enterprise financial applications in a production environment, such as Oracle Financials, Oracle Procurements, and Workday Adaptive Planning.
Troubleshooting and resolving issues, and optimize application performance
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translating them into application configurations and customizations for continuous enhancement
Designing functional specifications and implementing and configuring applications based on business need and customizing them to align with specific business processes
Maintaining current with updates, patches, and best practices, and provide recommendations for system improvements to business needs
What you bring to the team
Minimum 5 years of experience as functional and technical analyst with Oracle EBS
Hands-on experience with key Oracle EBS finance modules (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, Fixed Asset and iExpense), including configuration, customization and integration
Strong understanding of finance business processes and best practices including financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting and reporting
Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL and Oracle EBS database structure
Strong understanding of Oracle EBS technical components like XML Reports, WebADI, Oracle Forms & Reports, Oracle Workflow and OAF
Experience in managing and leading Oracle EBS implementation projects
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholder
Experience in implementing and supporting a FP&A product such as Workday Adaptive Planning or Oracle EPM is preferred
Experience with Oracle Project Accounting and Purchasing would be highly advantageous
Experience with Oracle Cloud Applications such as Oracle Fusions would be an asset

Additional information
The target salary range: $102,200 - $127,700 per annum.
The starting salary is determined based on the successful candidate’s knowledge, experience and internal equity. Starting salary may exceed the target range on exceptional basis.
