Job Description

Our client is a leading and dynamic developer/owner in the luxury purpose-built rental space whose portfolio comprises beautiful buildings and communities built to GOLD LEED standard certification.

Your New Employer

They develop, own and operate Class A residential assets and have some of Toronto's most prestigious and desirable purpose-built rental communities. They have lots of projects in the pipeline and will be significantly increasing their headcount over the next couple of years as they lease up new buildings and develop others! Your New Role

As Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will oversee the recruitment function in Toronto. You will hire mostly non-management and management corporate and site positions, for example: Property & Leasing Managers, Concierge, Accounting, Investment Analysts, Marketing etc. You will make strategic recommendations to senior management and provide reports and updates on progress. You will handle full cycle recruitment activities, sourcing, interviewing, pipelining, manage external recruitment agencies, oversee advertising and pipelining of candidates and be the go-to person for all things talent and recruitment!

What sets you apart

You have at least 3-5 years’ experience in a corporate recruitment position (in-house and/or external agency) and will come from a similar role in real estate so that you understand the nuances, opportunities and challenges within the industry. You will ideally have education in business administration or HR and will have an understanding of behavioural-based interviewing and its relation to the company's core competencies and values. You have experience with a variety of job boards for posting and reachouts and have working knowledge of ATS and databases.
