Posted Thursday, February 29, 2024 at 5:00 AM | Expires Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at 3:59 AM Reporting to the Manager, Supply Planning, the Senior Supply Planner is responsible for planning & maintaining finished goods inventory for a given portfolio. The primary function is to maximize case fill while optimizing inventory position and minimizing excess/obsolete inventory. Responsibilities: Create and manage monthly IC (inter-company) purchase orders and IC ROFO (inter-company supply forecasts) as per defined IC guidelines using SAP/IBP Determine optimal safety stock/inventory coverage targets by SKU for assigned portfolio Plan, execute, monitor, and manage entire inventory-related supply chain processes to improve key metrics Assess the impact of demand forecast changes or significant variances and recommend/implement appropriate revisions to the supply plan Identify root causes for supply issues and appropriately escalate to resolve issues as quickly and efficiently as possible Build collaborative relationships with various cross-functional stakeholders on projects such as new product launches, line extensions, product discontinuations, etc. Identify potential excess inventory and lead risk mitigation activities Actively participate in Budget process Utilize systems (Cognos, DAS, etc.) to create and analyze KPI reports; perform root cause analysis and devise action plans to improve metrics Timely inform internal stakeholders about major changes or risks in Supply Plan Be super-user for Supply Planning module in SAP IBP Train new team members and manage one direct report Requirements: Post-secondary education in Business/Supply Chain or a related field 4-6 years of experience in Supply Chain Planning Ability to visualize, articulate, and solve complex problems and make decisions based on available information JDE or any other ERP system experience is required SAP/IBP experience is an asset High-level proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel Drive for achieving and surpassing targets Passion and commitment to continuous improvement Strong Communication and Collaboration skills Ability to effectively present and communicate at various levels of the organization APICS/IBF/LEAN 6 SIGMA Certification is a significant plus Previous People Management Experience is preferred Why Lindt Canada?
